Benny Veenhof click-to-call from the web

May 21st, 1991…I still remember it like yesterday.  I graduated from college and took a job the very next day as a computer programmer.  In those days it was mostly mainframe programming, DOS scripts and reporting.  As we started to move away from the mainframe, I got involved in local area networks.  Starting with Novell 2.12, we migrated over to a windows-based network and I have implemented anything from peer-to-peer networks to windows 2003 domains.  Then the days of the world wide web started to happen.  My first implementation of a website was on an old linux box, and all html code was created manually.  We went through many revisions using frontpage and other packages.  Today I use mainly Dreamweaver and the entire Adobe suite to create websites.

Besides managing local area neworks (LAN) and administering the web site, I have extensive experience in electronic ID card applications.  These range from security to POS applications, with anything in between.

I have always loved playing around with data and how to integrate systems to maximize daily operations for our customers.  Besides the technical aspects of these systems, I also have been involved in customer service training to create complete business solutions from dealing with customers to ensuring data integrity and efficient business flow.  Creating web sites has been one of my great passions, both in the business environment and on a personal level.  I’ve created a family web-site (www.veenhof-usa.com)  for my family to track genealogy and have come in touch with many family members I never knew about.

In my spare time I like to volunteer for the local recreation department and coach the middle school girls soccer team and chess team.  I also enjoy fishing, hiking and being outdoors with my son’s boy scout troop and enjoy a good game of golf (still working on my skills in that area).
